2 1/2 oz rye whiskey
3/4 oz sweet vermouth (Antica by preference)
1-2 dashes orange bitters
1 twist orange peel
In an Old Fashioned glass add ice, the bitters, vermouth, and rye. Stir gently, so that you don’t ‘bruise’ the spirits and cloud the drink. Squeeze the orange peel over the cocktail to release the oils and brush around the rim of the glass. Drop the peel into the glass for garnish.
