I noticed some time ago that I tended to use the same mix of spices in a lot of my recipes. I figured I would save time if I mixed up a jar of those spices ahead of time. Sure enough, It does save time, but I'm still refilling that jar fairly often.
Blend #1
Blend the following using either a manual crush or a mortar and pestle.
1tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried sage
1/2 tbsp dried thyme
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
As the mood strikes, I will occasionally add a teaspoon of marjoram.
