Okay, so this isn't really a goulash, it's more of a skillet casserole. A heavy dose of paprika is about the only thing this dish has in common with a true goulash, but it's tasty none-the-less.
1 lb. ground beef
1 yellow or white onion (chopped or diced)
Salt & Pepper & MSG
Garlic powder or two cloves fresh
3-4 tbsp paprika
1 medium can tomatoes
1 medium can tomato sauce
1 can corn
1 cup medium elbow macaroni
Cook macaroni. Brown meat and onion. When the meat is almost done, add garlic and other spices and cook a couple more minutes. Add tomatoes and sauce to meat and cook about 10 minutes. Add corn and macaroni and cook an additional 5 minutes or so. Try it. Hope it's right.
Note: A mild paprika makes for a tasty but mild dish, try replacing 1 or 2 tablespoons with medium hot paprika for a bit of zing.
